With taped zippers, aDWRDurable Water Repellent (DWR) is a coating that makes fabrics water-resistant. The coating creates a barrier on the fabric’s surface. This creates a higher contact angle between the outer fabric and the water in contact with it, making the water bead up and become rounder and, thus, easier to repel.coating, and a waterproof Hipora membrane, this jacket ensures excellent water resistance, and reflective accents enhance visibility. The moisture-wicking athletic mesh liner and soft-touch collar keep you comfortable, and the jacket packs easily into a belt for convenience on the go.
