The C50 helmet from HJC is a value-packed, comfortable and reliable helmet made for adventurous riders! DOT andECE 22.06ECE 22.06 is a helmet safety rating that extends and increases the testing requirements of ECE 22.05 (with 22.05 being a more modern and more comprehensive European alternative to DOT). With 22.06, 12 additional impact points are analyzed (now totaling 18) and impact speed is increased (from 7.5 to 8.2 m/s). Unlike DOT, every ECE helmet model must actually be tested by an independent lab before it receives 22.06 certification.approved, it provides trusted protection for demanding trails, harsh environments and on the road. HJC’s Advanced Channeling Ventilation System (ACS) optimizes airflow to maximize cooling and complements the bespoke contour interior fit. Off-road features include a tool-free peak adjustment, removable mouth ventilation cover for easy cleaning, strap groove for goggle compatibility, eyeglass grooves inside and built-in Bluetooth speaker pockets.
